Frank Thomas, a native of Columbus Ga., was a Hall of Famer and one of the greatest hitters in the history of Major League Baseball. Thomas is now a studio analyst for FOX Sports. “The Big Hurt” is what Thomas was nicknamed because of his powerful hits and major talent. With him being an analyst, the FOX Sports’ MLB show won back to back Emmy Awards for an outstanding show. Within Thomas’s career of baseball, he eventually established himself to be one of the deadliest hitters in the sport’s history. In all, he played 19 seasons and was voted to five All-Star games, won two American League MVP awards, four Silver Sluggers and was a member of the White Sox 2005 World Series Championship team. The amount of success he had was very shocking in the reading. His greatness is most definitely something to remember.
