My English Blog

The frustrating parts of writing, is trying to just write. It sounds crazy when I say it, but trying to sit down and write from scratch is kinda hard. I have to brainstorm, jot down things, and create little notes to help me because if I just try to go off of nothing, it won’t work. It’s hard, and too much extra work that can be avoided. Another frustration would be trying to be perfect with things and overthinking. That causes you to think too hard on trying to be perfect with your writing, and adds extra stress that could be avoided as well. Focusing on getting your ideas together, making sure you have enough information for your paragraphs, and getting everything well put together in the end would be easier for writing doing it in a way that’s best suited for you.

Me personally, I do not have a favorite song. I listen to all kinds of music and different genres. The only thing about music that matters to me is that it HAS to have meaning. I cannot listen to music if it has no meaning. It does not technically have to tell a story, but it has to have some type of energy to the song so that it grabs and keeps my attention. Some artists make songs with no meaning. What I mean by meaning is when the song has purpose, and you can clearly understand what they’re saying and where they’re coming from.

If I was to choose a big social pet peeve, it would be when people post their EVERYTHING THEY DO on social media. You don’t have to post everything you do on social media, and one reason is for the simple fact that people don’t need to know everything you do, or everywhere you go. Allowing people to know and keep tab of everything you do can create stalkers. For unknown people to know your whereabouts, and what you’re doing could be all bad. Some things are better left unsaid and kept to yourself. Another pet peeve is somebody who “flex” for social media, like putting on for social media trying to make it seem like they’re somebody they’re not. There’s nothing cute or cool about posting everything you do, or putting on a show for social media.

This blog is about English 101. Within reading my blogs, you will see English topics about many different things. I’m kinda skeptical about doing these because I’ve never did anything like it before. This is all new to me. Along with being skeptical, I’m also excited to see what happens within doing these blogs, and seeing how far I can and will go with them. I hope to have the reader interested and hope to keep their attention throughout the blogs. I hope they never get bored with reading them, and hope they’d want to read more over the courses of me creating them.
